Baptism
Celebrated after a period of study by the parents. For more information, please contact the parish office.

Reconciliation
Anytime by appointment. Please contact the pastor.

Matrimony
Couples that intend to marry must contact the pastor at least six months prior to the date of marriage. Please consult the Catholic Family Center for information on marriage preparation and counseling. No plans should be made prior to the first meeting with the pastor and/or deacon.

Sacrament of Anointing
This is a healing sacrament celebrated for those with a serious mental or physical illness. Please contact the pastor for a personal annointing. For communal celebrations please check the bulletin.

Christian Initiation of Adults
Adults interested in learning about the Roman Catholic faith are invited to contact the parish office. Classes begin each fall. If you are Catholic and are interested in returning to the Church, please consult Catholic Connection.



Ministry to the Homebound
Those who are unable to attend Mass may request the Holy Eucharist be brought to their home. Please contact James Doolan at 502-778-9547.

Hospital Visitations
Please contact the pastor if you would like a priest to visit you or a family member in the hospital.

Mass Stipends
You may arrange to have a Mass offered for a special intention. Mass stipends are a source of revenue for the parish. The ordinary offering is $10 but we accept what you can afford. Normally special intentions are made in the name of the deceased, but it can be for any purpose for which you want prayer offered. Please mail your request and offering to the parish office or place in the weekly collection with 'Mass Intention' written on the envelope.

Lay Ministries
Parishoners may practice Stewardship in the following ways:
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Lectors

  • These significant roles proclaim the Good News and assist with distribution of Holy Communion during liturgies. If interested, please contact the parish office.

  • Choir

  • The choir leads song at weekly Sunday liturgies accompanied by guitar and keyboard music. The choir may also accompany special ocassions such as weddings and funerals by request. Rehearsals are normally scheduled on Wednesdays at 7:30pm from September through the Easter season and open to all ages. The choir welcomes new members. Please contact Dennis Nash.

  • Servers

  • This special role for boys and girls ages 10-18 is one in which youth give prayerful witness to the Mass while assisting the priest. If you know of a youth who is interested, please contact the parish office.

  • Ushers, Gift Bearers, Ministers of Hospitality & Sacristans

  • Volunteers in these distinct roles collect the weekly parish offering, bring forth gifts of bread and wine for celebration of the Eucharist and welcome people into church. A sacristan is is charged with the care of the sacristy, and preparing the altar for Mass based on the season or feast. This includes the care and cleaning of sacred vessels, preparing gifts of bread and wine and whatever the priest requests.
