Parish Council
Booster Club
The Booster Club was established in 2000, replacing the former Men's Club
established in 1946 by Fr. James Lehmann. Over the years the Men's Club was
instrumental in planning, coordinating and underwriting many projects including a
new church furnace, renovating the convent in Lehmann Hall, installing air
conditioning and many other improvements. It also funded the athletic program
while Our Lady School was operational.
The Booster Club is open to all parishoners. It sponsors various fundraising
events such as the annual Spring Festival, Fish Frys and a monthly drawing for
1,000 dollars. It meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm in Lehmann
Hall, during which the monthly drawing occurs. View the
bylaws.
Ladies Club
Formerly the Alter Society, Our Lady's Ladies Club cleans the church and
provides liturgical supplies such as candles, linens and vestments through
fundraising. Its meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7pm in
Lehmann Hall.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
The parish Conference was established in 1862 and was disbanded and reorganized
several times. In 1940 it was reorganized and remains active to this day.
Conference members (known as Vincentians) assists those in need within parish
boundaries. Each believes that Christ's love can best be realized through
ministry to the poor. Depending on the need, the parish may offer food from its
pantry, pay utility bills and provide funiture and/or clothing. Funds for these
activities are obtained from the poor boxes in the rear of the sanctuary and from
donations from Conference members. The Conference meets on the last Monday of the
month at 6:30pm in Lehmann Hall.
