The Church of Our Lady is a Roman Catholic faith community located in the
historic Portland neighborhood of West Louisville (
see map). Founded in 1839, it is the second oldest Catholic parish in the city and the
third oldest in the Archdiocese of Louisville. It serves 100 households and the
local community through weekly Mass, community outreach and fellowship.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the parish please contact the parish office or download our membership form.
As part of the Archdiocean Parish Reorganization Plan, Our Lady will merge with St. Cecilia (see map) and St. Anthony parishes. Both are located nearby in the Portland
neighborhood. While the merger is not finalized, changes will be gradual.
Beginning April 14, 2007, Our Lady will hold only one Mass each weekend on
Saturday evening. Sunday Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Church. Read news about the merger process.
